Academic Code of Ethics

The International Scientific Conference of Researchers in the Field of Economics and Management pays special attention to academic ethics and plagiarism in publications. No research that is unethical, especially plagiarism, can be published in conference publications. For this purpose, plagiarism testing with plagiarism software is carried out before the research papers sent to the conference are published. Therefore, it is recommended that authors be tested for plagiarism before submitting their research.

The Science Committee and the Organizing Committee of the conference guarantee the protection of freedom of expression and academic integrity of the published materials of high quality. The academic quality of the research always precedes the commercial interests and needs of the conference Science and Organizing Committees.

Authors of already published research papers have the right to make appropriate edits at any time by contacting the conference Organizing Committee. The conference should not prevent the authors from doing it and a reasonable explanation may be required from the authors.

The authors of the research must confirm that the research has not been published elsewhere before and each author must have a specific contribution to the article. All literature and databases used in the research should be noted and the accuracy of the data in the study should be guaranteed by the authors.  The originality of the ideas presented in the research and the importance / relevance of the research results are taken as a priority criterion when the research is intended for publication. The conference is responsible for explaining the details of the confidential evaluation procedures to both the authors and the reviewers. The reviewer is informed of the academic writing rules and procedures based on the conference when each research paper is sent.

Research papers rejected by the conference Science Committee and field experts may not be re-submitted to the conference.

The conference Organization and Science committees should review academic writing rules and research evaluation standards and rules annually.

The new committee members should not override the decision of the previous members, unless there is an external complaint about plagiarism or other violations of the law.

The Conference is responsible for ensuring that the expert opinion process is properly coded and that neither the author nor the reviewer is able to identify the other party.

All editorial rules and academic standards set and followed by the Conference apply equally to both published and unpublished (under review) texts.

When the conference discovers plagiarism and has all the evidence to prove it, it reserves the right to appeal to the authority represented by the author.

In the event of plagiarism or other violations, the conference is expected to support the matter and provide all available evidence in the case, except for the identities of the reviewers involved.

The Conference is responsible for informing international databases and catalogues of any withdrawals.

However, they are not responsible for the timing of relevant updates to these databases and catalogues.

All situations presented as a conflict of interest are resolved in accordance with the COPE rules.

In such cases, the conference Organizing Committee is expected to find appropriate actions and take appropriate measures among those described on the COPE website (https://publicationethics.org/guidance).
